Dream big while you ‘re youhitting up retail work to cover the price of ambition.
When it comes to goals, you’ll have to settle temporarily and play the game. But you dream big regardless. It is what entrepreneurs do – calculated risks. To simultaneously aim high and dreaming big while earning those lower wages to survive. Eye on the price.
Calculated risk
Don’t quit your job before you have your next one lined up. Use your remaining free-time to work on your passion and give the odd social events a pass if it means you can further yourself by doing so. Bite your tongue if your manager is reaming you out and ball up your fists to make sure you don’t lose it. Come back to work the next day and live knowing that this isn’t where you’ll end up.
Multi-task, settle and aim instantaneously.
I am notoriously terribly at waiting and biting the bullet while searching for the next job. Strong impulses to take action at all times.
Yeahh it definitely takes some self-discipline. I remember working the tills and day dreaming about the day I could hand in my resignation – all worth it in the end though and spared myself a lot of stress.
All worth it in the end. :3
I completely agree, calculated risks are the Crux of success stories.. great post! 🙂
Thank you! Yep, risk with some thought in it.
